Description:

The Stella de Oro daylily is perennial with a height of 12 to 15 inches and a spread of 18-24 inches. Its trumpet shaped flowers are about 2.75 inches long. They are bright golden in color and have a subtle fragrance. The blooms may last up to 16 hours and the plant may re-bloom.

Habitat:

Suburban Garden.

Notes:

The Stella de Oro daylily has won awards (DFM & HM 1979, AM 1982 and SSM 1985) for its uniqueness and popularity.

“Stella” – in Italian means “star” and “de oro” in Spanish means “of gold”, adding up to “Star of gold.”
