Description:

Just found this while looking through an old CD of my scans. 40 years ago I called it a fly but now I think its a moth, wasp-moth perhaps?

Thanks for the ID Daniele. Its not my oldest because I posted a crab from the 1960s some time ago. Interestingly, the habitat does still exist - the house and garden where we lived remains untouched despite all the redevelopement. I saw it a couple of years ago and my daughter actually knocked on the door when she was there and was shown around. She was only 2 & a bit when we moved from there.
Wow Malcolm, is this possibly the oldest spotting on Project Noah? I hope its habitat still exists, as Singapore has changed so much...
