Field Notes

Description:

-Looks like an extremely tiny version of the Venezuelan Poodle Moth.
-Only a few millimeters in hight and length (roughly, and I mean very roughly, around 2.5mm-3.0mm)
-Found along with dozens of others

Habitat:

Found on underside of sapling's leaves (no clue what kind of tree though; picture is included)

Notes:

-Not affected by bug spray (NOTE: I *DID NOT* spray this tiny creature with bug spray, it, in addition to many others, flew onto a bug spray-soaked me as I was pruning a tree in my back yard!)
-Appeared to be a nest (approx. 1cm in length) of some sort; looked similar to a bag-worm nest only it was made with pure white gossamer
