Adult Mexican bean beetle, Epilachna varivestis Mulsant. Photograph by: James Castner, University of Florida http://entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures/veg/bean/mexican_bean_beetle03.htm This is almost an exact match in photos...but I have read that counting dots is important.
Does that mean I should squish it? If it's not a good lady bug, I don't want it hurting the plants.
