Description:

Planta perenne de porte rastrero, suculento, con una longitud del tallo de hasta 2 m. Las hojas son de color verde vivo, a veces púrpura en los extremos, y ahusadas, con textura cérea y sección triangular, curvadas hacia arriba, de unos 10 cm de largo. Las flores son muy espectaculares, de 60 a 90 mm de diámetro con numerosos pétalos imbricados de color púrpura, amarillo o anaranjado y estambres amarillos.

Habitat:

Playa de Grau Vell, Sagunto (Valencia).
