Thanks bayucca, I will correct it :-)
bayucca is this ID correct? http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7720592
Nymphalidae, Ithomiinae/Clearwings. Dircenna olyras relata, male. Look at the white spots behind the head. Heliconius never has spots behind, but usually stripes ("black/white"). And depending of the angulationn of light or flash use you might see the white and "blushy" spots and patches better or almost not.
really? where are you located, Cynthia?
Gorgeous! Butterflies seem to be missing in my environment at the moment - not sure why.
It's beautiful! The white spots are kinda glowing - is this a camera effect or it is really glowing?
