Description:
easily identifiable by it's large eye spots and orange parentheses markings.Prefers sunny areas with low vegetation.
Habitat:
Throughout the southeast and into mexico. Spotted in Cataula Ga. Common host plants for the eggs and caterpillars include: American bluehearts, Buchnera americana L. (Orobanchaceae); false foxglove, Agalinis spp. (Orobanchaceae); plantain, Plantago spp. (Plantaginaceae)
