Field Notes

Description:

Common on coral reefs. 10 - 25 cm long. The Pacific form has yellow stripes and yellow dorsal fin, while the Indian ocean form lacks the yellow.

Habitat:

MacKay Reef, Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, Australia.

Notes:

Also known as Bridled monocle bream, Two-line threadfin bream, Yellowfin spinecheek, and Twoline spinecheek bream
