Field Notes

Description:

This young crow was resting on a path in a small area of wood in the centre of the village. It just kept hopping around so I don`t think it was quite ready to fly.

Habitat:

There is a small wood in the centre of the village, which originally was part of the gardens of a house. The gardens must have been here for quite some time judging by the heigh and width of some of the trees.

What a beauty!! Looks like a young Jackdaw from his eyes and black and grey painting on the head. I have a eurasian jackdaw here http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6285181 - you can check for similarity.
