Field Notes

Description:

Wingspan 1 1/8-2" (30-50 mm). Wings are pale yellow; fore wings are pink along the front & back edges. Yellow hairs adorn the body.

Habitat:

Deciduous forests & open brushy areas wherever Maples grow.

Notes:

This one had closer to the 2" wingspan.
