Description:

Eastern Tent Caterpillar. Very hairy with black, white, orange and blue spots. Also very friendly! They were wrestling around on a log and seemed very interested in my presence.

Habitat:

Backyard, Athens, Ohio

Notes:

They were covering the backyard several weeks ago!

Thanks latimeria! Ohio has so much great wildlife, especially Athens. I love taking pictures of creepy crawlies, mushrooms, strange plants. I'm glad I found Project Noah so I have a chance to ID them.
