Field Notes

Description:

Chocolate Labradors from field-bred stock are typically lighter in build and have a shorter coat than conformation show Labrador.

Notes:

She will point at the ball/stick/pinecone/wad of string/etc that she is hunting and wants you to throw. She will retrieve it. She will search for it until she finds it. She has absolutely no objection to diving into the water and diving under the water to get a weighted throwing dummy. She swims like an otter and is extremely loyal. She comes from field stock and has papers.

Sarah, My chocolate lab will stand under a water hose going full blast and still "point" to the ball. I can't have a pooling water feature in the yard because she will be swimming in it every time she goes outside.
Great shots, Heather! Labs truly are "water HOGS", huh?
