i got tired of eating this when I was growing up hehe.. my dad usually just give them to our neighbors
Aah this is the guyabano that I was drinking. Marketed in the us at incredible expense as a cure all (annona). 'tengo guyabano' in Colombia is to have a terrible headache.
Okay, I learned about the Soursop. It is quite a well traveled plant :) Still quite thorny.
Yes! It looks a pretty thorny one, too! I looked on Wikipedia and they have a thorny one from Costa Ric, too. Some are smoother.
we have those in our backyard back in our hometown, we couldn't consume all of the fruits so they just fell off and rot
