Field Notes

Description:

Long tail, Brown back streaked breast. Seen more low to the ground when looking for food. This is a younger bird.

Habitat:

Shrubbery areas, gardens, along hedges.

Notes:

This is the one that will make a clicking sound when I come into the garden hoping it will make me bring out bread crumbs, but he needs to hunt on his own.

Saw this in Ridgecrest, North Carolina, last year, while attending a conference there. Nice capture!
