Field Notes

Description:

3/8" (9-11 mm) Thin with a broad head & red eyes. Black Thorax. Very narrow abdomen in the first few segments making it seem wasp-waisted. Wings vary, smokey to clear.

Habitat:

Pastures & fields on flowers & foliage.
