Description:

Toad egg strings spotted at temporary rainwater pools. Easy to confound with common toad spawn (Bufo bufo). Natterjack spawn preferentially in temporary pools while common toad prefers rivers, brooks or permanent pools.

Habitat:

Teporary pool at a mountain road edge. Pine tree forest. Reserva de la Biosefera del Real Sitio de San Ildefonso-El Espinar.
