Hi anassha619, That is a good first spotting in Project Noah. the spider in your picture is, quite definitely, a Jumping Spider from the family Salticidae. So, you might want to edit your spotting and put "Jumping Spider" in the Common Name box and "Salticidae" in the Scientific Name box. That will make your spotting correct and look better. I have tried to identify the Genus and Species, but the spider is too small in your photo and I can't see the detail clearly enough. I always try to get my camera close to small creatures. That usually gives a better result, but you have made a good start and I hope to see some more photos from India. Thank you.
