Field Notes

Description:

An abstract painting by Mother Nature?

Habitat:

This organism is growing inside an abandoned sewer manhole, which hadn't been opened in 17 years. Though part of a major trunk line the manhole was covered with debris(leaves,limbs,ect.). The pattern that you see continues throughout the entire manhole. I haven't found anything resembling this organism yet.

Species ID Suggestions

Comments (1)

Could they be the tracks of slugs or insects that crawled through the mud?
