Field Notes

Description:

I was on my morning walk when he flew into the Palm tree across the road from me. I got this picture and tried to back up to get a fuller picture and he took off. Better than my first picture , but not good enough yet

Habitat:

Florida's lakes and ponds. When they land on something narrow, they have trouble keeping their balance with those big feet.
