Field Notes

Description:

Huge leaves, deeply scalloped. I saw these at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, but can't read the tag. My grandmother has these all over her beach garden about 20 feet from the bayou (brackish) water.

My eyes are not that good...I couldn't read the tag, even after I "zoomed in." Thanks.
The tag says Fatsia japonica http://www.plantdelights.com/Fatsia-japonica-Spiders-Web-Perennial-Speckled-Japanese-Aralia/productinfo/5141/
