It is a very pretty shot!..and is so nice that people here in Noah makes and effort to ID it :-)
Ohh sorry, I didn't know. It was taken in new Hampshire.
It is a swallowtail and probably a Tiger. Where was the photo taken?

I have a picture series of this butterfly and someone helped me ID it. This is how I pass it on! I thought mine might be a monarch too at first. But I'm new to ID species.

This is not monarch, its Swallowtail.
