Species ID Suggestions

Hi Ian, Lovely shots. I may be able to help you identify this heliconia. Perhaps you can give a description of the size of the inflorescence, height of the plant, and length and width of the leaves. This looks like the Heliconia psittacorum. However, I was unable to find any of that species with green seeds. That fact may be due to climate conditions or geographic range of this species.
some similarity to this one of mine shot in Costa Rica: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6341387

When i showed the photo to friends, without a pause they said Bird of Paradise! hahaha... I guess that's common name :D doing more search I found a more likely plant Heliconia psittacorum http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heliconia_psittacorum
