Habitat:

Wet tropical forest in Brokopondo district. I believe this is Heliconius aoede. I welcome comments about this ID.

There are many extremely similar "Heliconius" ones in the neotropics. And sometimes it is not even a Heliconius ;-) Yours is a Neruda aeode, but cannot tell you which subspecies it is. http://www.butterfliesofamerica.com/L/t/Neruda_a.htm
