Yep, that's it argy, knew I'd recognize the name if I saw it. I have a few more photos I'll add to my spotting.

type of myrtle but that's only an ordinary local name.... still thinking
@ ashishnimkar the acacias have seeds in long pods like peas @ ava t-b eucalypts have 'pods' usually in clusters and each on their own little stems
I have on in my front yard, but I've forgotten what it's called. I'll post flower pics shortly.
I think this is some species of Eucalyptus.
Yes...recently I gone through many Australian trees have such kind of leafs.
Not sure Ashish, this tree was not in flower. However I did see trees with these type of yellow flowers around. It could be it, the leaves are similar.
