The shiny abdomen is indicative of a carpenter bee (as opposed to the hairy abdomen of a bumble bee). Carpenter bees' wings are also a bit darker than bumble bees.
not really, its probably an old bee. They loose some hairs in their life

I don't think its a Bombus, I think its a Xylocopa (Carpenter bee)
