Field Notes

Description:

This one was about 3/4 inches (18 mm) Possibly the Golden Northern Bumble Bee. If not it is very similar, but I couldn't find a good description of the worker bee as it did not fit the queen or male drone description.

Habitat:

Clearings in forests, roadsides & open areas.
