Description:

Wild iris species found in western North America has typical iris blooms in shades of blue or purple. Grows from high mountain meadows to coastal hills on the west coast. Considered a weed in agricultural California.

Notes:

Blooms in damp flat meadow areas in the Estes Park area. Grows from rhizomes.
