Field Notes

Notes:

Any idea as to who lives here? Found in a Park ,under trees, not on slope, at least 4 ft deep inside. diameter is greater than 3 inches.
the inside of the hole is smooth, indicating a rat running in and out.
This hole was in a dry spot,in the foothills of Mt Diablo.

Thanks p.young713, I am going to write a little more about it and how i came t taht conclusion by the process of elimination. Good observation about tin foils and petals !!
It looks like a rat because he or she collected some tin foil and petals! Interesting photo Emma! It makes you visualize the rat!
