Field Notes

Description:

Easily recognised due to the two wires in the tail and a brownish cap, although the cap is not visible due to the limitations of my camera.

Habitat:

In open cultivation near water sources.

Notes:

The locals say that the male and female both work to build the nest and feed the young ones.

Yes... near fresh water. Where these birds takes quick flights to catch small flies for food.
Ashish I had seen this one near a water source, not river.
They definitely locate near a river.

Beautifully captured... I always in search in identifying those wires in tails whenever they locate...very fast bird..!!
