Description:
Spicebush Swallowtail found puddling on a Lake Michigan beach. In the picture, you can see the proboscis probing the wet sand. I followed it for a while to make sure it didn't get swept away by the waves.

Lake Michigan beach, puddling in the wet sand, Manistee County
