Description:
Herbaceous perennial with pale bluish-purple sepals. Very hairy leaves and stems. Called pasque flower because they often bloom around Easter.
Habitat:
Prairies to mountain slopes ranging from Alaska south and east to Texas and Illinois.
Notes:
Found in profusion blooming on May 22, 2011, near the Lily Lake trail in Rocky Mountain National Park
