Yes, the variability is great and I am only 99% certain that it is G. fortis. Note that also the finches get confused at times; some of them hybridize. - Join facebook.com/darwinfoundation to learn more about our work.
OK, nice try ;-)... Thanks for clarification. A very short moment I also thought of Fortis, but I was really overhelmed by the great variabilties of different finches.
Oneof the famous Darwin's Finches! I hope that I have the right one...
