Description:

Small Grebe <br>
Non breeding plumage<br>
Similar to the Horned Grebe. These birds have some dark smudge below the line of eye. High forward crest. Slightly upturned bill. Sometimes the rear of the bird sits high while in the water.

Habitat:

This one is in a saltwater marsh.
