Description:

Echinops is an erect herbaceous perennial to 1m tall, with glossy, lobed, thistle-like leaves white beneath, and globose, bright blue flower-heads on long, white stems. Flowers in late summer.

Habitat:

mountain cleariing, 1600 m asl
