Unfortunately there were no flowers at all when I spotted it. It does look like a pea to me too but it was in the wild and the leaves certainly not look like a pea leaves.

I´d say that this is some kind of Genista, hard to say without the flowers... (maybe a Jasminum nudiflorum - but of that I´m not sure)
