Description:
Unidentified Salticidae. I know that this is a Jumping Spider, in exactly the same way that everyone else would know. The principal identifiers are the distinctive shape of the the cephalothorax and the eye pattern. Of all the Jumping Spiders that I have been unable to identify, this one has two distinctions which bring it to mind every time I am looking at images, trying to identify any Salticid. These are; 1. It is, beyond any shadow of doubt, the smallest Jumping Spider I have ever seen and 2. It is also the cutest Jumper I have ever seen. So far, I have made no progress in my searches for a proper ID. So if anyone looks at this and thinks "I know what that is", please let me know.
Habitat:
Spotted climbing around on some tall weeds in the backyard of the rice mill.
