Field Notes

Description:

The Chestnut-headed Oropendola is found from southeast Mexico south over the Caribbean slope south to northernmost South America.

Notes:

Courtship in Limón, 34C / 100% humidity. While the weather was asphixitiating me, we found an 'oropendola' community on a Guava tree, something remarkable considering they allowed us to make pictures (they are usually very shy on people)
