This Red-tail was feeding on a rabbit caught just off the edge of the road at the Parker River NWR.

Beautiful hawk and nice pictures.
This Red-tail was intent on eating its catch. I noticed it in the shadows at the edge of the road because a guy on a bicycle was stopped directly across from it. I took these pictures from 40 feet away and the hawk just kept on eating.
