Description:

Cercopoidea; Machaerotidae; Machaerotinae.

Habitat:

This Tube Spittlebug was spotted in our backyard on a Great bougainvillea (Bougainvillea spectabilis Willd.) locally known as Bogambilya. Plant information from - http://www.stuartxchange.org/Bogambilya,,, This photo was taken by my wife, using her cellphone camera.
