Description:

Medium sized Tern. During breeding they will have a full black shaggy cap and an orange bill. Non breeding and immature will have less black shaggy feathers on forehead.

Habitat:

Found mostly on the coast. These were found in the bay.

I've seen drafts do that. Unfinished spottings would disappear and later may or may not see on the app. I no longer have the app.
I did a clear out several months ago, all duplicate spottings found were notified in comments, and later removed if the user did not respond after a week or so. It is not uncommon for some submissions to get lost in Google cloud services for a while, only to reappear later after the user has reposted, a hazard of free to use programs using their low-level cheap services which have severe limitations on hourly and daily usage. https://cloud.google.com
The only other one I have was taken years ago in a different location
