Description:
A moth of the family Erebidae. Adults are variable in appearance with shades of brown, yellow, red-brown, and black, sometimes with white or silver marginal patches. Forewing length 2-2.4 cm.
Habitat:
Spotted on my backyard fence. Attracted to light. Mixed woods nearby.
