Description:

An introduced ginger as ornaments. Large smooth leaves with a red flower on top that produces nectar that attracts ants and bees which are visible in the first picture.

Habitat:

Grow on the jungle floor of Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary, Sandakan, Sabah.

Notes:

>>>Map accuracy : 150 m diamter. After leaving Sukau, Kinabatangan, we came straight to Sandakan to visit the famous Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre here.
