Description:

Balkan toadflax, also known as broadleaf or Dalmatian toadflax, is a hardy perennial, narrow and upright, here about 1m tall, with multiple stems growing from a single woody base. The main stem, bearing large greyish densely packed leaves, produce many flowering stems with smaller leaves and large yellow flowers.

Habitat:

Observed regularly, every year on rocks and walls in our garden; in a hot Mediterranean climate, and our rather dry garden (most of the garden is not watered in summer, and most of vegetation rely on rains only) on terraces in urban area. Mediterranean vegetation, both cultivated and wild.
