Description:
Small galls growing in clusters on the upperside of oak leaves. They were about 3 mm wide and had short, brown hairs.
Habitat:
Habitat: Oak tree bordering a meadow
Notes:
Callirhytis furva wasps form galls on oak leaves (Quercus sp.). The galls drop from the leaves in October, with adults emerging in the second or third spring.
