Rusty colored, caterpillar. Two eyes in front. Two, eye like dots on top of head.

Habitat:

A heavily vegetated mountain meadow in the upper montane area of the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Notes:

2 of 3 caterpillars crossing the hiking path.
