Description:

El fruto es un hesperidio oblongo u ovoide, de hasta 5 cm de largo, cubierto por una fina y aromática piel amarilla, anaranjada o roja con glándulas oleicas claramente visibles, comestible. La pulpa está segmentada, y es ligeramente ácida, de color naranja.

Habitat:

Jardines de la Avenida del Marqués de Doas Aguas, Valencia.

Notes:

Los kumquats o quinotos son un género de árboles y arbustos frutales de la familia de las rutáceas, estrechamente emparentados con los cítricos, con los que son capaces de hibridarse.

Fruitful ornaments of gardens... :)
In Spain recently being introduced as an ornamental tree.
It makes delicious jam, but I mostly pick it fromthe bush and eat off the rinds as the center is sour.
Also that dots on fruits are helped.. :)
Must be a kind of Lemon. Leaves telling.. :)
