Robber flies are fierce predators that usually get their prey in flight. They fly straight to their victim and hit it with their sharp rostrum, like an arrow.

Brilliant capture Sergio. I agree with Tom. Unusual seeing those eyes on robbers. More like for Syrphids or Tabanids etc.
