Field Notes

Description:

Grey back, lighter chest, small head, long tail. Makes a mournful sort of cooing. prefers feeding close to the ground This is a young one The second picture is the shadow she made flying out of my picture.

Habitat:

Makes a rather disorganized messy nest, sometimes in unusual places like on top of a Ceiling fan. Seen frequently in the Suburbs and in gardens.
Likes to sit on the Power lines behind my garden.
