Description:

The Australian White Ibis grows up to around 75 cm long and has a bald black head and neck and a long black downcurved beak, measuring over 16.7 cm in the male.

Habitat:

Once rare in urban areas, it has now become quite common, and is seen scavenging at local parks and dump sites. This one is one of many at the Botanic Gardens Sydney
