Homing pigeon

I came across this beauty wandering about the forest floor behind my work. She was covered in fireants, and kept standing on one foot. I was having a very rough day due to the recent loss of my fiance, who passed away suddenly. I called this bird Hope, for she stayed with me the entire time and never shied away from me. She kept me company and lightened my heart.
